Description

Sophisticated attackers are unpredictable, but they are following a pattern that—if we pay attention—might help us finally get in front of the evolution of threats. The history of attack techniques shows that the bad guys have also taken advantage of the availability/confidentiality/integrity triad that has guided the work of information defense. Steve Riley will review notable examples of the trend, and explain how the security industry must prepare for probably the most difficult work it has ever faced: defending information integrity. Included is a discussion of how the suite of Microsoft security products helps achieve this goal in a systematic and manageable way.
